BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Michigan – March 1, 2010
Ward Williston Oil Company was recently named a Finalist in Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” competition.
"We are absolutely thrilled to have made it to the finalist position,” says President, Laurie Cunnington. “I have always considered our people our strength and moving forward to this stage of the competition is based on their appreciation of the workplace.”
The competition puts each nominated company through a rigorous audit, including an extensive interview with each employee.
For the final analysis, a distinguished panel of judges from the field of human resources will select the winners. Those winners will be announced in the Spring of 2010.
“We are excited about the possibility of winning this award, but in the end we feel this advancement to the final stage is a tremendous honor and a testament to Ward Williston’s commitment to making the workplace a great place for all our employees.”
